Overview

The Churn Intervention Agent watches product-usage metrics, support ticket volume, and payment signals in real time to score every account for churn risk. When an account crosses your configured threshold, the agent generates a personalized intervention — a targeted email, a promo code, or a CSM handoff note — calibrated to the account's tier, usage pattern, and relationship history.

Everything logs back to your CRM so your team has full context before the next human touchpoint. The result: at-risk accounts get timely, relevant outreach without anyone on your team manually pulling reports or drafting messages.

How to deploy

Connect the agent to your product analytics platform (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or a Segment event stream) and your CRM. Define the risk signals that matter — usage drop-off thresholds, support ticket velocity, failed payment retries, or NPS score declines.

Set per-tier intervention playbooks: self-serve accounts get automated email sequences, growth accounts receive targeted promo codes, and enterprise accounts route to a CSM with a pre-drafted outreach note. The agent runs on a configurable schedule, re-scoring accounts and triggering interventions only for those that newly cross the threshold.

Once live, the agent runs continuously in Oz. You can inspect every intervention decision in the Oz dashboard, adjust risk weights without redeploying, and review generated messages before they send — or configure fully autonomous mode for high-confidence interventions.

Integrations

Out of the box, the agent connects to Stripe for payment signals, Intercom or Zendesk for support-ticket velocity, your product analytics platform for usage data, and HubSpot or Salesforce for CRM logging and activity attribution.

Custom data sources — internal data warehouses, feature-flag systems, or proprietary scoring models — can be added via the Oz skill system without modifying the agent's core logic.
